One of the largest university based Peace Corps communities
The University of Denver Peace Corps community is the second largest RPCV community at any university in the United States. Current returned Volunteers have served on five continents and bring experience from around the world to the University of Denver community.
Community Members involve themselves in Denver area community service, raise money for field projects, participate in Peace Corps recruiting events, and do third goal activities in the University and throughout Denver.
Photo Auction nears end at Korbel!
The photo auction in Ben Cherrington Hall's Cybercafe is near its close, with almost all the pictures sold to buyers. The great pictures were able to raise over $300 to donate to a Korbel Master's International student's project in the field.
The auction also showcased the vast array of experiences RPCVs took part in during their service. Indeed, the most difficult part of the photo auction is choosing which pictures to present from the many taken from their service.
The DU PCC website is moving!
With our expanding web needs and desire for greater support, the DU Peace Corps Community is moving its website from an independent provider onto the University of Denver servers. This means the site will load faster, look better, and be more tied into the DU community.
The new website will be du.edu/peacecorps, but is still under construction as we transfer the entirety of this site into a new format and new layout.
What does this mean for you, the user? A better experience! Look forward to more pictures, more news and more information on the Peace Corps Community here at DU.
